Do you consider yourself a masochist when it comes to playing games? Do you enjoy torturing yourself by endlessly trying to complete extremely hard levels? Then, Fluke Games has you covered as their torturous title – The Impossible Game 2 has just launched on Android and iOS. It serves as a sequel to its predecessor, which launched over a decade ago and went viral on the Xbox Live Indie Games platform in 2009 for its unforgiving gameplay and enthralling music. The sequel raises the bar even higher.
The Impossible Game 2 is a rhythm-action platformer that features over 20 brand new levels that make use of mind-boggling mechanics like jetpacks, guns, and portals. These levels will take place in different worlds with their own art styles and adrenaline-pumping boss battles. Add to this an even better soundtrack and cooler graphics, and you have the perfect blend of hardcore action and immersion.
The game has been in early access since last November and Studio Head Ed Bentley, speaking of the phenomenal response it got, said: “So many people signed up for the beta that we had to close the form within just a couple of hours. I’d like to thank all the participants for their help improving the game. And gg to everyone I beat testing the battle royale mode.”
You heard that right. The Impossible Game 2 features a battle royale mode as well. With the advent of battle royales, why not add it somehow to an endless runner? The game’s battle royale mode will feature a 60-player online race that will allow cross-platform matches between iOS and Android. Another awesome feature is the level editor. Using this, everyone can create their own levels from the ground up, using all mechanics except boss battles. These can then be shared online for others to try out.
