How to Unlock and use Scavenger Abilities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

[ad_1]

TT Games’ LEGO Star Wars series, and other LEGO games, have exploded in popularity. By tying into the various properties that they have licensed, players get to explore all manner of fiction, comics, films and more. These games have a huge fanbase, and it’s easy to see why. They offer tons of fun with all the puzzles, action and more. Another reason why people love them is because of how great all the collectibles there are.

Along with all of that, there’s a mountain of characters to unlock and mess around with. In addition to being iconic characters from the various Star Wars properties, there’s also their unique abilities and weapons. Given that the block-based nature of the game is a huge part of how you solve puzzles, of course, there are unique aspects to that interaction. Scavenger Abilities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are one of the many unique ways each character can interact with the blocky world.

How to use Scavenger Abilities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Each character uses these special tools in the same way, offering a few paths that are the same through each level. This helps ensure that players can complete a given level despite what characters they have unlocked. To gain access to them, you must first unlock them, here’s what to do. You just need to play through Episode 7 – The Force Awakens. The mission “Scrap for Scraps” sees Rey and BB-8 trying to explore the scrap heaps of Jakku and other locales. You can complete the mission and this will unlock all three of the Scavenger abilities for a certain class of characters.

It’s important to note that unlocking the tools in Episode 7 will allow players to use them with all Scavenger characters. There are three main types of Scavenger Abilities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Each one has the same core utility, and is very useful for navigating levels.

The Net Launcher allows players to climb objects with an “X” on them, allowing for more verticality. The Glider helps you jump across gaps in the terrain. The other item, the Breaker Blaster allows players to break cracked walls in their path.

You can then access the abilities by pressing the right button. By holding Circle on a PlayStation controller, B on an Xbox controller, or A on a Switch controller, you can then open the Tools.
