Mercedes F1, famous for its participation and wins in the Formula 1 races, has partnered up with FTX, to launch a three-part NFT concept that will offer fans some free exclusive NFTs in the season’s remaining races.

Miami’s Grand Prix will be the first Grand Prix to include these free NFTs.

The Three Parts

  1. The first part of the concept will feature some free NFTs called “Ticket Stubs,” representing digital and artistic interpretations of Mercedes F1 race tickets. There will be 2,500 NFTs dedicated to each of the season’s races, which will each be randomly distributed to fans who register their interest in the initiative.
  2. In the second part, 1,000 limited edition Ticket Stubs will be distributed at five races across the season.
  3. The third part will include ten exclusive NFT assets that can be purchased via the FTX NFT marketplace in auctions. The artist, Mad Dog Jones, will also curate two exclusive NFT artworks to go alongside five selected races.

Note that the NFT artwork shown in Miami will feature cars driven by the team’s drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, as well as physical, Mad Dog Jones-designed rear wing plates which will be used on the car race day. The auction will go up on May 6th.
